Dearest Vicki,
we at Heart of Gold want to offer you
our deepest sympathy for the loss of your beloved mother.
We know that words cannot express the pain you
and your family are going through right now.
You are all in our thoughts and prayers.

From Debbie

Do not stand at my grave and weep,
I am not there, I do not sleep.

I am a thousand winds that blow,
I am the softly falling snow,
I am the gentle showers of rain,
I am the fields of ripening grain,

I am in the morning hush,
I am in the graceful rush,
Of beautiful birds in circling flight,
I am in the starshine of the night,

I am in the flowers that bloom,
I am in a quiet room,
I am in the birds that sing,
I am in each lovely thing,

Do not stand at my grave and cry,
I am not there, I do not die.

From ~Shy

Should You Go First
Should you go first and I remain
to walk this road alone,
I'll live in memory's garden dear,
With happy days we've known.
In spring I'll wait for roses red.
When fades the lilac blue,
In early fall when brown leaves fall,
I'll catch a glimpse of you.

Should you go first and I remain
For the battles to be fought
Each thing you've touched along the way
Will be a hallowed spot!
I'll hear your voice, I'll see your smile,
Though blindly I may grope.
The memory of your helping hand
Will buoy me with hope.

Should you go first and I remain
To finish out the scroll,
No lengthening shadow shall creep in
To make this life seem droll.
We've known so much happiness,
We've had our cup of joy.
And memory is one gift of God
That death cannot destroy.

Should you go first and I remain,
One thing I'd have you do:
Walk slowly down the path of death
For soon I'll follow you.
I'll want to know each step you take
That I may walk the same
For some day down that lonely road,
You'll hear me call your name.
